Who We Are

Salvus, LLC, is committed to delivering precise, cutting-edge detection technology that accelerates decisions at the point-of-concern for companies across multiple industries. By more quickly and accurately detecting chemical and biological substances, users can deploy more timely action plans.

The Latin word for safe, Salvus was formed in 2018 in response to agriculture needing to manage the potential drift challenges caused by dicamba. Researchers at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) had refined an innovative interferometric biosensor technology that could be configured to rapidly detect a variety of beneficial and harmful pathogens and chemicals. Salvus and GTRI signed a licensing agreement to bring to market the handheld Salvus Detection Platform.

We continue sponsored research with GTRI in the areas of health care, environmental sciences, food safety, and agriculture. In addition, we have a Cooperative Research & Development Agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) to explore agricultural and food safety applications.

As a member of CJB Companies, we prioritize safety, quality, reliability, and seamless collaboration. Our dedication to the highest standards of integrity serves as the foundation to the enduring partnerships we’ve formed within the life sciences industry.
