Salvus Welcomes New Hires

Salvus, LLC, a CJB Company, announced the creation of its Product Engineering Team comprised of new
hires Cole Houston, product development engineer, and Rode Peters, embedded systems engineer. The
team will focus on evolving and developing Salvus™ product technology and software to support
commercialization advancements.

Battelle Chlorinated Conference

The Salvus™ team had a busy week during the Battelle Chlorinated Conference, June 1-4, highlighting recent developments with the Salvus Detection Platform during poster and Learning Lab sessions. Since earlier this year, Salvus, LLC, a CJB Company, has cleared several hurdles to fast track the commercialization of its field-deployable long-chain PFAS screening platform. Scott Witte, PhD, senior scientist, and Andre Tatar, general manager, presented a poster highlighting the advancements in the Salvus screening capabilities and a Learning Lab session demonstrating how the Salvus PFAS Screening Platform can be used in the field.

Widespread contamination of PFAS poses significant challenges for site characterization and subsequent remediation efforts that are critical in the mitigation of PFAS impacts on the environment and human health. To meet the critical demand for rapid, onsite PFAS detection, Salvus is developing a polymer-based sensor integrated into a portable detection system.
